Firestone Walker: Beach Clean-ups April 17, tentative.Need a location. Pismo Pier? Avila? After Party? Raffle? Bikinis? Mr. Ricks? Fundraiser? Jen J is point person for this event.
Pismo Water Quality update: Kitts seems to believe that there is a connection to the pigeons/dogs,
- Sewer management plan was given (power point) and will be posted on the site.
- 4 spills in January: Baker St, Stenner Creek, Atascadero, Oceano
- We are now testing Sewers, Steve D will test Thursdays
- We will post our data to membership
- Salmon Enhancement is cleaning up the Pismo Creek/Estuary, we will partner - Jen J will contact Stephanie
Los Osos- Mary reported that the vote for De Novo hearing passed, Jason will cover the Appropriate Tech. meetings
Marine Sanctuary Steering Meetings will be at Carol Georgie’s house.
Planning Meeting March 6th, Mary’s house at 1pm

Ulrich Lund will be doing a statistical study of the bacteria counts, we pose as clients, the students will consult to help us organize the data for meaningful outcome, Jeff is coordinating
Surfrider will take a written position on the once through cooling- in regards to the Nuclear power plant in Avila getting a renewal-
We need people to cover the wave energy projects/ Morro Bay waste water treatment plant.
